Largest Chabad House in World Visited by VIP Delegation As a pre-Purim occasion, the Chabad House at Rutgers University was visited by a world renowned philanthropist, Reb Shalom Ber Drizin, from Crown Heights, NY.    Reb Shalom Ber was accompanied by community activists Reb Chanina Sperlin and Yossel Motchkin.   This visit was a first for the delegation , and Reb Shalom Ber toured the 90,000 sq ft facility and met the staff rabbis and students present in the Chabad House.

After seeing the scope and diversity of the campus activities of Chabad, Reb Shalom Ber commented that "it is remarkable what has generally been accomplished on campus, and especially the creation of a central building that serves as a living center of Jewish life.
This Chabad House truly exemplifies the goal of the Rebbe to create a place that serves our young men and women with all their needs, materially and spiritually.   From the sparkling kosher kitchens, dining halls, men and women dorm suites, Shuls, lounges, and an international coffee shoppe, every possible amenity is present!"

Reb Shalom Ber Drizin pledged his continued support for the Chabad House and encouraged Rabbi Yosef Carlebach and the Chabad rabbinic staff to increase their campus activities.
